Kynance Cove in Cornwall , which is on the Lizard peninsula is considered one of the finest beaches in Britain. Known for its creamy white sands and rugged coastline it has a wild beauty that conjurs up historic images of pirates and smugglers.
This piece is a homage to this stunning location using the colours and abstraction of formations found there as my inspiration. Deep turquoise reflects the fabulous light on the sea, toned harmoniously with rhythmical shapes found in landscape hues.
